Charles Lane, who turned 102 this past January, has passed away this past Monday, July 9th. Charles Lane played Lucy's business manager on I Love Lucy as well as in the classic episode where Mr. Lane played the expectant father in the waiting room the same night Ricky Ricardo waits for the birth of his son in "Lucy Goes To The Hospital". He also had a recurring role on The Lucy Show as Mr. Barnsdahl.
His passing was announced by his son, Tom Lane, who was speaking with his father at the time of his death. He was laying in bed and he just closed his eyes and passed away around 9pm.
